THE UNRECOGNIZED CLASSIFICATION OF HELP

 

 

I am sure that there are many out there who had poured scorn on my previous comment, even nice lady whose entire wardrobe is compiled with contents from the indirect support of criminals. How one asked, if you will bear with me I will tell you. This is a typical example

John Dow and Zola Dow got married, he was very passionate about the Criminal Justice System, but because of circumstances beyond his control, he could not get a job in the system. Eventually they get a child, and to the pleasure of John Dow, the child was a boy, and so he had confined within himself, that he would like his son to be a part of the Criminal Justice System. In that respect he had given his son his name. Calling him John Dow junior

John Dow had kept his secret to himself for a long time without sharing it with Zola Dow, his wife. But has his son grows, and he became more intoxicated with his idea, he had decided to share it with his wife; she was in total agreement with him. So they both united whole heartedly with one accord to help their son to achieve what they had planned for him.

John Dow junior was told of his parents wish for him, and he was pleased about it. He was obedient and he followed instructions. He was successful in all his examinations at first attempt.

He had become a Criminal lawyer and he was very successful. He married Isleta handy and they had two children, a boy and a girl they were attending public school. Although Isleta was a housewife, John Dow junior and his wife had managed to purchase a house. They were living comfortably, and he and his wife agreed that John senior parents could come and live with them, but this was not finalized, it was just a suggestion. Obviously they were waiting for the right moment. However as the years went by there was no urgency to put their agreement into form.

But circumstances started to change gradually, because John was not getting the number of case that he usually gets. Therefore is income was less than before, and he was behind with his bills; as soon as he tries to settle one bill another bill was due for payment. So he was unable to pay his bills, and it was at this stage, they invited John’s parents to come and live with them.

Isleta had suggested that she would go out to work, and that Zola could take care of the children for them. It was a splendid idea, because if Isleta was able to contribute to the household bills there was no doubt the bills would be properly managed. So John junior and Isleta went to see his father and explained his situation, and asking for their help; of which they were more than willing to help. As a matter of fact his mother and father would have anything for them.

Just when they were about to take John’s parents into the home, a number of cases came in whereby John became very busy, and the cash was coming in as before, therefore, all his outstanding bills were paid, and he was up to date with his payments. They were jubilant about the situation, and had thought that the situation was back to normal. But they were out for a shock, within two months of the expected inflow of work, a permanent decline sets in, and John junior’s position was worst than before.

We do not have to go into further depth to demonstrate how many professionals achieve success by means of indirect help of which they do not show any appreciation. Or it might have been because does not label such form of help as help. But it is impossible to run away from reality; it might have been an indirect form of help, but regardless how one should look at this form of help, and whether or not that one is prepared to accept it within the classification of help, within a general terms with the true definition of the world it is nothing but help.

One within one’s profession would no doubt want to ignore this form of help because it might have been regarded as degrading, but there’s nothing degrading about it; it is but only the reality

In denying the use of the true meaning of word would be loading the scale one sided, and only prove that we are scared of facing the reality, but for a more educated community we should not try to deny the true meaning of the word, it is also at the same time the power and command of the English langue.

The honest truth is that we will have to look if there is any benefits that  had been derived from the word when in use, or other words, the purpose or purposes that the word have been used for. In the examples given there are more than evidence  to prove that the word carries a double meaning; that is to say, that one will be given help to another, but at the same time, that one who is given, is also deriving benefit from the action or actions the that, that one is performing.
